Asocia\u021bia Prematurilor develops programs in Romania for premature babies, parents and medical staff in neonatology and brings together experts from various disciplines, parents, media representatives to improve the quality of public health services in Romania. Asocia\u021bia Prematurilor is the only ONG in Romania accredited on prematurity in accordance with the provisions of Law no. 197\/2012 on quality assurance in the field of social services by the Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Protection and the Elderly in Romania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organization runs charitable programs of donations in maternity hospitals, continuing education for medical staff, supports workshops and webinars for families with premature babies, projects to prevent premature birth, financially supports social cases of families with premature babies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) awarded the Civilian Solidarity Prize to Asocia\u021bia Prematurilorfor the project donating equipment and protective equipment to neonatology departments in Romania. In January 2020, Asocia\u021bia Prematurilor was awarded in Germany, by EFCNI (European Foundation for the Care of Newborn Infants), for its involvement in philanthropy projects and for the results obtained in Romania due to prematurity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We want all vulnerable girls and women in Romania to have access to the products and information needed to properly care for their menstruation. We distribute monthly packages of menstrual hygiene products, we organize hygiene courses and we fight for the legislation to take into account their basic needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asocia\u021bia pentru Libertate \u0219i Egalitate de Gen \u2013 A.L.E.G.- the non-governmental organization, which has been active since 2004 in combating violence against women and promoting gender equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer psychological counseling services to support women facing domestic violence. We provide information services by phone, e-mail or face-to-face with specialized staff, as well as an online counseling service http: \/\/aleg-romania.eu\/consiliere\/.<\/a> Counseling and legal assistance and the #SiEuReusesc support group complete the package of services designed to help women find the resources to overcome violence.
